IG Birmingham opened in 2000 with one of the largest kettles east of the Mississippi River. Its 58’ kettle enables galvanizing of large material up to 75’ long by using progressive dipping, also known as “double-dipping”. IG Birmingham provides high quality galvanizing for pole, structural and other large fabrication customers in the surrounding five state area and beyond. With its spin technology IG Birmingham also offers its small parts customers proven quality from the smallest fasteners to larger castings.

Conveniently located just minutes from I-59 running from Birmingham to Chattanooga IG Birmingham’s customers enjoy quick and easy access. Interstates 20 and 65 are close enough that customer work moves through the South in all directions.
